These example have been borrowed from GPS-Central Canadian website. Also the following edited paragraphs, which again are a good guideline for shipments.
from quote
We will not ship any order over $100.00 by Small Package International or Xpresspost USA, as we cannot track packages. We will only ship orders exceeding $100.00 to other countries if we can track the package. Also, we reserve the right to charge more for shipping, if the package is oversized or the location is remote.
These are the options you will see in the Checkout. Shipping is a service, so you'll be charged 5% GST or 13% HST in addition to these charges for Canadian orders. (There is no PST in Alberta.) US customers, please visit our USA online store.
